AirMaxMusic’s Top Mixtapes of 2011

AirMaxMusic would like to give our fans and viewers, who have kept us motivated to give you new music and opinions, a chance to decide which of the selected mixtapes has been the best of 2011. After a long discussion, we decided to only include mixtapes that had relatively low budgets and were made by up-and-coming artists (for example, Frank Ocean’s Nostalgia, Ultra and Mike Posner’s The Layover didn’t qualify). Of the contestants, three of them made our AirMaxMusic Freshmen of the Year list. The rules of the contest are simple: you can vote for any three chosen artists once a day and the contest will end on the 18th of December. After we establish the best mixtape, we will have to make another big decision for best rap album of the year. To make things interesting, the winning mixtape will receive a song-by-song review on the site and the artist will be sent exclusive AirMaxMusic gear.

Remember to tweet this link and post it on Facebook, good luck to all the artists!

Where is Skyzoo’s “The Great Debater” or eLZhi’s “ELmatic”? Absolute joke of a list.
